This course endeavors to illustrate and explain how to develop costs and how they can be used not only to estimate the product cost, but also how to use them to determine a competitor’s likely bid price. It explores the estimating methods typically used to estimate costs and explains the advantages and disadvantages of each, demonstrate several estimating methods, and includes a cost estimating methodology that participants can tailor to their own organizational needs.

    • describe costs by classification;
    • identify appropriate cost elements;
    • explain and understand the role of management accounting within an organization and the importance for the requirement of management decision making information;
    • demonstrate knowledge and application of the principles of management accounting, in planning, monitoring, pricing, and various decision-making processes, that are deemed to reduce risk factors related to the organization.

  2. Assessments

    Assessment will be provided at the end of this course in the form of multiple choices examination or an assignment. The IAAP Certificate will be awarded upon successfully passing of the assessment.

Hari Ramulu – He is a Chartered Certified Accountant, with wide experience in audit private practice and in financial/management/public sector accounting, auditing and taxation educational process, having been in the profession and industry since October 1974. Hari Ramulu is a Fellow member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants of UK, a Chartered Accountant of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants, an Associate member of the Malaysian Chartered Institute of Taxation, a Chartered member of the Institute of Internal Auditors of Malaysia (affiliate of USA), an Associate member of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners of USA, an Associate member of MACFE, member of MATPRO, member of IMA and a member of Malaysian Institute of Management. His academic excellence is in the form of (a) Diploma in Accountancy (Newcastle-Upon-Tyne, England), and (b) Master of Business Administration (Accounting) from University of Newcastle, USA.


Our mode of delivery will be:

  1. Course Fees– The fees for this course will be RM 1,485.00 per trainee for 14 hours of virtual training using the ZOOM platform or self-paced online training using our LMS platform. This fees also includes the assessments, SST of 6% and the award of IAAP Certificate
  2. Payment – For those registered under HRDcorp, your fees will be claimed by us directly from HRDcorp. As for self- paying trainees, you can register and pay using our payment gateway.
